Directed by Swiss contemporary artist Sylvie Fleury, Cristal Custom Commando is a subversive short art film that explores the intersection of luxury, fetishism, and feminist rebellion. The film features three women from a Geneva-based motorcycle club clad in leather, who systematically open fire with shotguns on iconic Chanel luxury handbags suspended in mid-air against targets.Set to an electronic soundtrack by Sidney Stucki, this high-fashion demolition derby serves as a sharp critique of consumerism and weaponized femininity. The project was originally commissioned for the Chanel Mobile Art international touring exhibition and draws heavy inspiration from the 1968 cult exploitation film She-Devils on Wheels.
