Brett Whitcomb is a filmmaker with a catalog that oscillates between archive-rich nostalgic portraits of pop culture and observational snapshots of under-explored communities. His 2020 feature, Jasper Mall, premiered at Slamdance Film Festival and was released on Amazon Prime and PBS. His Emmy-nominated 2022 feature, Butterfly in the Sky, premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and was released on Netflix in 2024. His most recent feature, The Spirit of Halloweentown, explores a community defined by its holiday obsession and premiered at Fantastic Fest in 2024
